We recommend arriving about 20 minutes before your booked skating session to give you enough time to get your skates and store your belongings in our secure area. Please note belongings are left entirely at owner's risk and locker numbers are limited.

Each skating session lasts 45 minutes, this includes entry to both our large covered ice rink, coffee shop and food options. Please note that the food options may differ depending upon time of day.

Yes, skates are included in the price of your ticket.

Yes, figure skates and hockey skates are allowed, but we do reserve the right not to allow skates deemed to be unsafe.

Quex Adventure Farm Park Ice Rink has a no refund policy unless we are forced to close. If you are unable to attend your session for whatever reason we will rearrange your booking to another date and time of your choosing. You can either email info@quexactivitycentre.com or change your booking via our booking website.

Our covered indoor rink does not usually get too wet, unless the weather is unseasonably warm. You should find that our covered indoor rink has an excellent skating surface for the majority of the time.

Whatever the weather, we recommend wearing suitable outdoor, waterproof clothing. It’s quite normal for there to be a degree of surface water on any real ice rink. For this reason, visitors should be aware that they may get wet - even if it isn’t raining.

We have limited cloakroom facilities at Quex Adventure Farm Park Ice Rink. We have a limited number of lockers and coat racks available. Please note, we cannot be held responsible for any loss of items and you leave items entirely at your own risk.

Our covered indoor ice rink and attractions operate in all weather conditions, and we will only ever cancel sessions due to exceptional high winds. Please bring suitable outdoor clothing whatever the weather. Ice is, of course, made from water - rain or dry there is always a risk of getting wet. In the unlikely event that the Ice Rink must close, alternative skating sessions will be offered. We regret that no refunds can be given due to bad weather.

We have a limited supply of penguin and snowman skate aids, which cost £5 per session, available on a first-come first served basis from the Ice Rink Check In. Skate aids cannot be booked in advance, but can be booked up to one hour before your session starts, so arrive early if possible. Penguins can be used to help our smaller guests from toddlers to 1.2metres tall, whilst our snowmen can be hired for skaters up to 1.4 metres tall.

If you don't want to skate you can watch free of charge from our viewing areas, or you can relax and enjoy our festive food and drink, from a real coffee to a drink in our licensed bar.

Apart from Toddlers on Ice sessions, the minimum age to skate is 4. For children under the age of 8, they must be accompanied on the ice by a skating person aged 16+. Those aged between 8 and 12 can skate without an adult on the ice, but this is dependant on their skating ability. We advise parents to use their discretion on whether very young children will enjoy the experience. There are no refunds given if you or your child do not enjoy the skating experience.

Ice Skating does not include a visit to Santa or a Christmas Gift. Santa is only present during The Elf Express.

The minimum age to skate is 3. This is for insurance reasons.
