The Elf Express
The star of the season, The Elf Express, is a magical tractor ride through the grounds of Quex Park. Climb aboard and get ready to be entertained by Santa’s mischievous elves, who will keep the whole family laughing and singing along the way.
The journey will take you past sparkling lights and festive displays before arriving at Santa’s Grotto, where the big man in red is waiting to greet you. Every child will have the chance to meet Santa and receive a special gift, making this a truly memorable part of the Christmas experience. Parents can also capture those treasured family moments, creating memories to last a lifetime.
REAL Ice Skating
Nothing says Christmas quite like gliding across the ice. Our covered ice rink is the perfect spot to soak up the festive atmosphere with family and friends. Whether you’re a seasoned skater or finding your feet for the first time, the rink offers plenty of space for fun, laughter, and even a few gentle tumbles.
Surrounded by seasonal decorations and twinkling lights, it’s a magical way to enjoy the crisp winter air. For younger visitors, skate aids are available to help them build confidence, so everyone can join in the fun. Afterwards, warm up with a hot drink or treat in our Christmas Tipi Café.
Christmas Light Show
Get ready for a mini festive adventure before Christmas filled with sparkle, music, and fun! Our Christmas Light Show at the historic Round Tower combines dazzling light displays with all your favourite Christmas songs. As the lights dance in time with the music, you’ll find yourself humming along and tapping your feet to the festive beat.

Reindeer Experience with Afternoon Tea
Meet Santa’s real-life reindeer up close in this truly special experience. You’ll step into their enclosure, feed them their favourite treats, and learn more about how they are cared for throughout the year.
Afterwards, the magic continues as you head into our beautifully decorated Tipi to enjoy a festive afternoon tea, filled with seasonal sandwiches, scones, cakes, and a hot drink of your choice. It’s the ultimate Christmas outing for animal lovers and families who want to savour every moment of festive joy.
Highland Cow Experience with Afternoon Tea
Spend quality time with our gentle Highland cows in their exclusive feeding and grooming area. You’ll get the chance to brush their distinctive shaggy coats, offer them snacks, and discover fun facts about this iconic breed.
After your session, step inside the cosy warmth of the Tipi to enjoy a delicious afternoon tea. Surrounded by twinkling lights and festive decorations, it’s the perfect balance of animal encounters and seasonal indulgence.
Christmas Goat Walk with Hot Chocolate
For a more playful experience, take one of our cheeky goats for a festive walk around the park. Dressed in seasonal style, they’re full of character and bound to bring plenty of smiles along the way.
Once your stroll is complete, warm up with a luxury hot chocolate, topped with cream and marshmallows – the perfect sweet treat to round off a fun and quirky Christmas activity.
Santa Paws
Don’t let your four-legged friend miss out on the festive fun! Santa Paws is designed especially for dogs and their families, with the chance to meet Santa and capture a paw-fect seasonal photo.
Every dog receives a special Christmas treat, ensuring they feel just as much a part of the celebrations as the rest of the family. It’s a magical way to include every member of your household in your festive memories.
Quex Illuminated Trail &
Light Show
Extend the Christmas magic this year with an enchanting evening adventure at Quex Adventure Farm Park. From the moment the gates open at 4pm, you’ll be immersed in a world of twinkling lights and illuminated displays as you wander through the Elf Express Woods at your own pace. Along the trail, thousands of glowing installations create a magical backdrop, while Santa’s reindeer rest quietly within the woods, adding to the wonder of the experience.
The highlight of the evening takes place at the Round Tower, where spectacular light shows at 5:30pm and 6:30pm bring the historic building to life with colour, movement, and music. Whether you’re enjoying a German sausage from the BBQ, sipping mulled wine, or toasting marshmallows over the fire, the Quex Illuminated Trail & Light Show is the perfect festive outing for the whole family after Christmas.
The Christmas Tipi Café
At the centre of the celebrations stands our heated Tipi, home to the Christmas Café. Step inside and be welcomed by the glow of fairy lights, cosy seating, and a festive menu brimming with seasonal favourites.
Whether you’re stopping for a mug of mulled wine or sitting down for something heartier, the Tipi is the perfect place to relax and soak up the Christmas atmosphere.
